Personeta Chooses Data Connection for its SIP Software
Personeta licenses Data Connection's (DCL) SIP protocol stack software for its TappS solution

Data Connection Limited (DCL), the leading provider of communications protocol software, and PersonetaTM, a leading developer of intelligent Network Service Controllers (NSCs), announced today that Personeta has licensed DCL's DC-SIP software for its TappSTM server solution.
DCL's robust, scalable SIP product provides a comprehensive portable source code toolkit for the development of SIP-enabled devices. DC-SIP provides full SIP User Agent and Proxy to the latest RFCs, and supports highly scaled, distributed and fault-tolerant architectures that meet the demands of real VoIP applications. Its sophisticated development environment also includes simulation tools for system testing and graphical diagnostic output for rapid issue identification. All DCL's products are designed and developed under its rigorous development process, and are backed by its highly acclaimed support service.
Personeta develops an advanced application server platform, TappS, for enhanced carrier service implementation and deployment. TappS enables carriers to rationalize recent heavy network investments by making possible highly segmented and customizable value-added services that open new revenue opportunities. DC-SIP enables TappS to provide SIP interworking for backhauling of traffic across a SIP backbone network and support of SIP phones, gateways and media servers in a distributed SIP network.
