The System Administrator can configure SNAP-IX to restrict your use of 5250 style files in one of the following ways:
You are restricted to using the administration style file that your System Administrator specified in the configuration information. In this case, the 5250 emulation program uses the specified style file in the /etc/opt/sna directory. If you specify a style file on the command line, a warning message will be displayed, informing you that this file will not be used because you do not have permission to use it. You cannot create or modify style files.
You are permitted to specify a style file on the command line when you start the 5250 emulation program, but you cannot modify it or create a new style file.
You are permitted to specify a style file on the command line when you start the 5250 emulation program. You will also be able to create, modify and save user style files.
