4.3 Specifying the Style File

If your System Administrator has configured permission for you to use a user style file, you can specify this user style file on the command line when you start the emulation program. This user style file will then be used in addition to the administration style file that has been configured by the System Administrator. The emulation program only looks in the specified subdirectory for the style file. (If you do not specify a path, the emulation program only looks in the current directory.)

If you do not specify a style file on the command line, the 5250 emulation program only uses the administration style file that the System Administrator specified in the information configured for you. The administration style file is usually created by the System Administrator.

A user style file can only be specified on the command line if you have appropriate permissions.
