5.3 Replaying Macros

You can replay a macro by doing one of the following:

A dialog will ask you to specify the name of the macro that you wish to replay (either by typing in the name or by selecting the name from a list). When you have selected the macro it plays back the sequence of keystrokes that have been recorded and the OIA displays the playback symbol (which is described in Operator Information Area). The macro may pause and wait for user input from you (the OIA indicates this by displaying the three dots symbol). Input the information that is required and press one of the following keys: CLEAR, ENTER, ERASEINP, HELP, PA1, PA2, PA3, PRINT, ROLLDOWN, ROLLLEFT, ROLLRIGHT, or ROLLUP when your information has been entered.

You can stop a macro that is replaying by doing one of the following:

When the macro is stopped, the OIA will not display any macro record or replay indicators.
