This section describes the commands that can be used to transfer files using the file transfer program, and the different options that are available.
The following three commands provide the most commonly used file transfer requests, and are suitable for inexperienced users who want to perform simple transfer operations:
sna400ft send filename AS/400location[ general options] [send options]
sna400ft receive filename AS/400location[ general options] [receive options]
sna400ft list [AS/400location] [ general options] [list options]
The following command provides access to full file transfer functionality, and is suitable for users who are familiar with transfer requests:
sna400ft transfer [filename] [ general options] [transfer options] [transfer_request_string | -x transfer_request_filename[transfer_request_parameters ]]
