Before You Begin

This book provides configuration and usage information for the SNAP-IX APPC Application Suite. It also explains how to install the asuite.tps file, which is used to select and execute the correct target program, by using the snatpinstall program.

The applications described in this book consist of pairs of TPs (transaction programs) that run on an SNA network. Each application uses independent Logical Unit (LU) 6.2 protocols to communicate with partner applications running on other nodes in an SNA network.
