Global Bank acquires a subsidiary that has an existing Windows-based PC network. As a result, the Windows-based PC network needs to be integrated into Global Bank's corporate network.
The SNAP-IX server provides the communications link to the host. The Windows PCs are configured as SNAP-IX clients so that they can continue to run their existing Windows applications, while also using SNAP-IX (or existing third party) emulation programs to run corporate applications on the host.
