Before You Begin

This book describes how to configure and run the SNAP-IX NDMA (NetView DM Agent).

This book includes the following:

• An overview of NDMA

• Configuring NDMA

• Running NDMA

This book applies to Version 7 of SNAP-IX.

Intended Audience

This book is intended for the System Administrator responsible for setting up NDMA, to enable the NetView DM or DSX program at the host to manage Solaris files.

Before using this book, you should have installed the SNAP-IX product, and should be familiar with its administration functions.
