The snarjeclr command removes the files and directories associated with an RJE workstation. The files and directories are rebuilt if a new job is submitted for the workstation or if the workstation is restarted.
Sample command: snarjeclr wks1
The command must be issued by the System Administrator. It removes all of the following:
Jobs spooled for this workstation
Status information stored for sent jobs
Output files on the default output directory
Console information
You should use the snarjeclr command only when the workstation is no longer required or to clean up after a serious error condition.
You must use the snarjeclr command on the computer for which the RJE workstation is configured. You also must be sure that the workstation and the console program are not running when you issue the snarjeclr command (although the SNAP-IX software may be running). Refer to the SNAP-IX Administration Guide for information about RJE workstation configuration.
The syntax for the snarjeclr command is:
snarjeclr wkst
None.
You must use the following parameter with the snarjeclr command:
Name of the RJE workstation for which you want to clear the directories. It is not case sensitive.
If the command completes successfully, no messages are returned.
A message is sent to standard error if SNAP-IX detects an error, indicating (for instance) the following:
Invalid workstation name was supplied
Parameter in the workstation style file was invalid
The RJE workstation was already running so the directories could not be cleared
