4.2 Keystrokes Used in the RJE Console Program

The following are the keystrokes and keystroke combinations defined for use in the RJE console program:

Enter

Sends a host command

Home or Ctrl + A

Returns to the earliest available information

End or Ctrl + E

Returns to the latest available information

Backspace

Deletes one character to the left

Delete or Ctrl + Y

Deletes a character

Up or Ctrl + K

Scrolls the display back one line

Down or Ctrl + J

Scrolls the display forward one line

PageUp or Ctrl + B

Scrolls back one screen

PageDown or Ctrl + F

Scrolls forward one screen

Left or Ctrl + L

Moves to the left

Right or Ctrl + N

Moves to the right

Ctrl + T

Moves to the start of the line

Ctrl + W

Moves to the end of the line

Insert or Ctrl + U

Toggles between Insert mode and Replace mode

Ctrl + R

Redraws the screen display

Ctrl + Z

Starts a temporary Solaris shell while the console program continues to run

Ctrl + D

Returns to the console program from a temporary Solaris shell (started with the Ctrl + Z keystroke)

Ctrl + P

Displays the previous command stored in the command history

Ctrl + O

Displays the next command stored in the command history

Escape

Clears the command input area without sending the command, so that you can start again

F3 or Ctrl + X

Ends the console program
