7 Solving Problems

When you have a question about a menu or dialog box, display the menu or dialog box and then press F1 for online help.

7.1 3270 Could Not Initialize due to Failure to Fork a Process

If you receive this message while trying to start the 3270 emulation program, it indicates that an operating system command failed during initialization of the program. This generally happens because too many other processes are running at the same time.

Retry when other processes have finished, or when fewer users are on the system. If this problem occurs repeatedly, contact your System Administrator.
